Is there a way to have real time data from TOS, such as IV Rank into an excel spreadsheet? I'm also looking to add Net change and some other things. I know this is the command for putting in the last price on a stock. =RTD('tos.rtd','LAST', 'SPY') Thanks. Restart thinkorswim. On MAC: Exit the thinkorswim software; Double click on Macintosh HD; Double click on APPLICATIONS; Double click on THINKORSWIM; Drag the USERGUI folder to the apple trash and empty the trash; Restart thinkorswim; Deleting the USERGUI file folder is similar to clearing your cache and it will prompt a fresh download of the most recent update.

I wish to download historical market data for hypothetical generation in Excel. The aim is to test some of my trading ideas/strategies. Is it possible to export historical data from Thinkorswim's ThinkDesktop platform? I think this comment violates the Community Guidelines. Chat or rant, adult content. TDA only offers RTD for spreadsheets: RTD thinkorswim supports the RealTimeData (RTD) functions in Excel in order to allow you to do your own custom. This limits some of the capabilities of thinkorswim on a Mac.

That may force iMovie to 'see' the DV signal coming from the camcorder, and thus it may recognise it.See Dan's comprehensive suggestions about this problem.Oh, and Welcome to iMovie Discussions!.Best of Luck! If it can't establish a connection - even when trying to import FROM the camera - by iMovie sending a message TO it and trying to get the camcorder's response, then iMovie may not understand that the camera is, in fact, plugged in.Try setting the camera to Playback and starting to play a tape immediatelybefore plugging it into your Mac.

Here's the magic: Paste this into cell B2 =RTD('tos.rtd',B$1,UPPER($A2)) It reads the ticker on the respective row and the parameter on the top of the column Simply drag the box in any direction and it fills it in correctly for you. You can find all the information on the website and fill it in by hand. I uploaded part of my SS which has all of the labels I could find. You of course must be running TOS at the time. Hello, recently I've tried to write calculations in Excel's VBA using the RTD from ThinkOrSwim's trading platform. I am losing sync from ThinkOrSwim after a couple of hours. My research has found that if Excel is calculating during a refresh, because of too much code, could cause it too crash. So I removed the code completely and still losing sync. I also have tried a manual refresh by setting the refresh throttle to -1 and using refreshdata() inside a timed loop at 10 second intervals and still losing sync. I have asked ThinkOrSwim for help and still waiting on them. So if anyone could give some suggestions I would be very happy!
Thanks
